Japan, France, and East-West Aesthetics

Japan, France is the first comprehensive history of the idea of Japan in France, as tracked through close readings of canonical French writers and thinkers from the 1860s to the present. Voiceless Vanguard

Winner, 2015 International Research Society in Children's Literature (IRSCL) Book Award Voiceless Vanguard: The Infantilist Aesthetic of the Russian Avant-Garde offers a new approach to the Russian avant-garde. Using historical, political, and social frameworks, this book investigates the evolution of the fine art doctorate in the UK, what the concept of a PhD means to...

Monuments men: missione Italia
